Beth A. Bunnell
Managing Director Beth A Bunnell is a US qualified lawyer who worked in Greater China (Hong Kong, Beijing, and Shanghai) for close to 20 years. With both private practice and in-house experience, Beth was previously a partner with a leading international firm and then went on to serve as Asia Pacific general counsel for a Fortune 100 company where she advised on a wide array of corporate matters and strategic projects across the region, including alliances, acquisitions, and divestitures. Beth was the co-chair of the Shanghai American Chamber of Commerce’s Legal Committee, and was elected for two consecutive years to the Chamber’s Nominations and Elections Committee, reporting directly to the Board of Governors. Now splitting her time between Seattle and Shanghai, Beth is spearheading the firm’s cross border practice and is a frequent advisor to law firm management committees.
Lucy Li
Another key member of Asia Legal Resources is Lucy Li, an Australian qualified lawyer with ten years of working experience across different fields in Asia. Equipped with a combined Commerce / Law degree from the University of Melbourne, Lucy started her career as a business consultant in Big 4 accounting firms in Melbourne and Shanghai. She then worked as a corporate associate in a leading international law firm in Shanghai before joining a legal executive search firm in Hong Kong as a senior consultant. Lucy's prior professional experience and personal background have contributed to her unique and incisive perception of the mainland China and Hong Kong legal market as well as an in depth understanding of various practice management issues and career planning dilemmas commonly encountered by law firms and lawyers.
